Some house keeping reminders:
— We would like to give a gentle reminder to have children dressed
appropriately for the weather as we do go outside rain or shine.
— Please ensure extra clothing are replaced after use.
— Bedding goes home every Wednesday and Friday to be cleaned and returned the following day.
— Please keep personal toys at home.
— If picking up children from playground please ensure you are parked in the parking lot and not driving up to playground.
— Please wear a face mask at drop off and pick up.
— Please ensure you are following social distancing protocols on premises
— Please wait at door in designated area and refrain from entering building.

First Aid Kit:
In an emergency, we need to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours. We require that each child have an emergency kit at the daycare. If you would rather purchase an emergency kit for your child, please let one of our teachers know. We have them for $10.00

Every Wednesday and Friday bedding will go home to be washed by parents and brought back on the following day. Failure in bringing bedding will result in your child to go to sleep without a blanket. (which is not very nice)
Children’s Snacks and Lunches
Please ensure your child(ren) have enough snacks for their time spent at the childcare center. We would like to encourage healthy snacks such as fruits, vegetables, yogurt, cheese and crackers etc. Please do not send your child(ren) with Popcorn, chocolate bars, lollipops, or any type of sugary treats.
Due to licensing regulations, your child(ren) lunch must be sent ready to be heated in an appropriate container. Canned food items, Mr. Noodles, Mac and cheese must be prepared at home and sent in a container to reheat at lunchtime. Lunches and Snack that take more than a minute to microwave will be sent home. Thank you for your cooperation.
Important Information:
In Case of Fire, Earthquake, Natural Disaster:
If we are not able to go back to our building, the Salvation Army /Surrey Alliance Church building then we will go Queen Elizabeth Secondary School
Daycare Requires:
– Inside shoes to wear indoors only:
Fire safety requirements that we were shoes inside in case of emergency that we are all wearing shoes or slippers with grip at the bottom of soles if we need to vacate the building.
Also, children lie down and play on our inside carpets and floors, so outside shoes are not appropriate for indoors.
– Do not forget to sign in your child(ren) at the beginning of the day and sign them out at the end of the night.

– Just a reminder that Fees are due on or before the beginning of the month. A $5.00 late fee for each day a payment is late.
The centre OPENS and CLOSES promptly at 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. Due to insurance reasons we cannot have children in the building before or after these times. Please respect this policy. If you are running late please be sure to call the center as soon as possible. A LATE FEE of $1 per minute must be paid to the closing staff. Thank you.
A Box of Kleenex goes a long way. Please bring in a box of Kleenex to share with friends. It’s a good practice for children to learn to clean themselves when they need to. Thank you for those who continue to contribute.
A reminder please for parents to keep the door closed behind them entering and exiting the centre.
- While there’s no announcement for daycare closure yet please keep your child/children if they are experiencing any of the following:
- – Dry cough
- – Fever
- – Shortness of breath
- – Fatigue
- If the government announces that childcare across B.C. will be closed, we will have to abide to it. The safety of our families and our staff is our priority. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
FEE INCREASE NOTICE:
To Parents/Guardians,
We would the to inform you that this April our monthly fee for daycare, preschool and kindergarten program has increased to an additional $50 per month. This will be immediately applicable to our new families that will be joining us this month. As for our existing families, please be advised that due to the extra funding that we have received from the government, we are pushing this increase to take effect in July 1, 2021.
This is a hard decision to make, as we understand the different situations each and every family is in during this pandemic time. However, we need to keep the daycare afloat and meet extraordinary sanitizing procedures and other enhanced COVID protocols. We also need to keep our staff in a competitive wage rate.

-Important Announcement:
In light of what is happening right now, with the pandemic of COVID19 on the rise. We the staff at Creative All Stars Childcare will be taking extra precautions effective immediately to ensure the safety of everyone. We are requesting you to please work with us hand in hand in this
extremely difficult time. From this point on we will be implementing the following:
- Parents drop-off and pick-up point will be at the front door only.
- Parents need to specify exact drop off and pick up time. For safety a teacher will be waiting at the door to greet you and your child/children. As well your child/children will be ready and waiting at your specified pick up time.
- If drop off and pick up is before specified time please call before hand to inform staff. Please be mindful of other parents during this time and maintain the required 2-meter distance.
- Please leave all back packs and personal items at home i.e. Stuffed animals, toys etc. Water bottles will be sent home everyday. Bedding will be sent home every Friday.
- Any signs of sickness, your child/children are to be kept at home. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM TO DAYCARE. We will have the right to refuse your
child/children if they have fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing and
excessive runny nose. If your child presents any of the symptoms after drop off, we will call you for IMMEDIATE PICK UP. - All tours will be cancelled indefinitely. Visitors, non-essential maintenance, Delivery personal will not be permitted beyond the front door.
- All children and staff are to wash their hands upon arrival at the facility.
- Anyone who traveled or has been exposed to people with COVID19 (confirmed or presumptive) must quarantine for 14 days.
Illness:

We will have the right to refuse your child/children if they have a fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, and excessive runny nose. If your child presents any of the symptoms after drop off, we will call you for IMMEDIATE PICK UP.
